This is the smallest Karloova activity play mat, making it perfect for smaller spaces or for taking along when travelling. The mat measures 80 × 80 cm and is made using a patchwork technique.

The mat consists of 20 × 20 cm squares with soft jersey fabric stars sewn on top. These different details invite babies to explore, touch and play.

The activity mat supports your baby’s sensory development and motor skills while providing a soft and safe place for play from birth.

● Activity Arches – The arches include three soft heart-shaped toys: two rattling stars and one rustling star that stimulate your baby’s senses. You can arrange and swap the toys as you like. The arches attach to the activity mat with Velcro and can easily be removed as your child grows.

● Personalization option – The mat can be personalized with your baby's name. We can sew the baby's name onto the play mat.

The toys placed in the center of the Karloova activity mat arches encourage the development of a symmetrical body position, stimulate bringing the hands to the midline and support the development of fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

The loops on the play arches allow you to easily add or remove toys yourself. To further encourage your baby to look toward the midline and bring their hands to the center, it is recommended to first remove toys from the sides and place only one toy in the middle.

As your baby grows and develops, you can add toys to the other loops to encourage curiosity, exploration of the surroundings and eventually rolling to the side and onto the tummy. You can also easily change the toy hanging in the center when your baby loses interest in the object in front of them.
